I think inviting friends to you is a great idea or just trying to be active and get out a few mornings a week.I feel like it takes me 15-20 minutes to get anywhere I am going so I think that is pretty normal around here. I would have thought winterville was more isolating than where you are know but I don't know exactly where the new house is. I know you love to walk and that would be a great way to meet people around your neighborhood.

Hang in there friend. I know it can be hard.

p.s. a whole shelf system for your shoes. Now I'm jealous. I better get invited over to see that soon. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5714316667662046790.post-9345545169271286212010-10-25T09:41:53.945-07:002010-10-25T09:41:53.945-07:00Thanks for the reminder, Heather. (I'm on the opposite end - in the middle of town near everything I need and most folks I know around here, but in an old house that is constantly requiring repairs, Kenton's time, and our money. It's really good to be reminded that the greener grass isn't always what it would seem. I'm finding that possessions are just difficult sometimes, and definitely not fulfilling like it seems they would be.)Rebecca D. I am making new friends everyday. Keep the old friends, but reach out and try to make new ones! My sister lives in Watkinsville- not sure how far that is from you but she would love some friendship and fellowship. OH...another advice- don't be afraid to invite ppl..they may think you are not inviting b/c you are not interested...you can always ask and they can say no if they need to. :-)
AmberStep by Step in Second Gradehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04566747587235984885noreply@blogger.com
